Precious meeting

I am finally feeling safe that my cold has passed and I am in the clear to meet the newest little member of the my friend HT's little family.  And oh my is he ever precious.

Mr. M woke long enough to finish what was left of his bottle and then I was able to have the distinct pleasure of holding him and swaying while he slept. Besides being such a cutie, this little man is a heater...I was literally sweating by the time I finally allowed HT to put him back in his basinet.

It had been awhile since I last saw HT, so it was nice just to hang out in her kitchen and catch up on all the changes of life.  The joys she has experienced and to hear any gossip from the old neighborhood.  We also talked about my latest whirlwind adventures, too.

While there, her hubby Shane should up from running a few errands.  One of his errands was to the local hardware store to purchase a giant wrench to help assist as he worked on his truck.  The thing was seriously bigger than Mr. M and was probably heavier too. Of course we had to take a picture. Too funny.

It seems of late, I have purchased something K-State to help introduce little ones to the purple and white and power cat...well the T's are avid dirtybird fans so I refrained from purchasing purple and opted to go the more practical route and presented the little man with more diapers...seems it was good timing too as this little guy is being extremely regular. Another shock about what all really goes into having a little one.

Congrats again Shane and Heather.  Mr. M is simple adorable and I can't wait to watch him grow up.  He is one lucky little man to have such amazing parents.  And HT, you look amazing!
